My name is Philip Pratt Sr., and I am the Owner and Founder of Dove Construction and I AM Contractors. Additionally, I am the Founder of Sent by HIM Missions, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the homeless and veterans in our communities. 

 

In my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working as the Owner and Operating Manager for both Dove Construction and I AM Contractors. Through these companies, I oversee a diverse array of projects, ranging from commercial and residential remodels to new builds. My commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional service has allowed me to cultivate strong relationships with my clients, and I take great pride in transforming their visions into reality.

 

Beyond my roles in construction, I have a deep-seated passion for community service. I am a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and minister domestically as well as internationally. My journey in philanthropy began at a young age when my mother instilled in me the values of unconditional love and charity grounded in biblical principles. I spent my early years feeding the homeless in Washington D.C., an experience that shaped my commitment to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. 

 

Throughout my career, I have embraced various opportunities to give back. I have volunteered extensively at nursing homes and worked in these facilities for five years, providing companionship and support to those in need. As a motivational speaker, I have had the honor of sharing my experiences and inspiring others to pursue their passions and make a positive impact in their communities. I have also organized youth groups, recognizing the profound impact that mentorship can have on the next generation.

 

My educational background includes graduating from Edison Vocational School, where I acquired foundational skills in construction. Additionally, I am a proud graduate as a Level 3 Commissioned Officer in security, which has further enhanced my leadership abilities and understanding of organizational dynamics. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Canadian ministries, where I collaborate with like-minded individuals to support various charitable initiatives.

 

My commitment to service extends beyond our borders. I have been fortunate to engage in missionary work both in the United States and internationally, with missions in countries such as Kenya, Ghana, Canada, and Jamaica. These experiences have deepened my understanding of global issues and reinforced my desire to create lasting change.

 

Growing up in a military household with my father serving as a soldier has profoundly influenced my perspective on service and sacrifice. This upbringing has fueled my desire to assist military families and veterans, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to thrive. As a husband and father of three, I strive to be a positive role model for my children, teaching them the importance of compassion, integrity, and giving back to the community.

 

My personal journey has not been without its challenges. I have faced significant health struggles, including a battle with kidney failure. This experience has opened my eyes to the fragility of life and reinforced my belief that every moment is precious. It has motivated me to not only impact the present but also to leave a positive legacy for future generations.
